That they all may be one as thou Father art in me and I in thee that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
— John 17:21
For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. — Romans 8:19-22

Orthodox Christianity holds that humanity's first parents turned away from God by believing the lie of the Father of Lies that God didn't want them to be like Him because He was jealous of them, and that they could be gods without God if they disobeyed Him and ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. This was a lie because they were already like God, having been created in His Divine image and likeness. As a result of their disobedience, their communion with God was broken, which caused everything to fall apart. The Cosmos (connectivity of everything to God through humanity) was shattered, interconnectivity fractured into a plethora of individual “things”, with humanity fallen into a state of being of ego selfishness awash in disease, death and decay.
The God-man, Theánthropos θεάνθρωπος — the union of Divine and human essence in the person of Iisoús Christós (Ιησούς Χριστός - Jesus Christ) is the Divine Way of restoring the interconnectivity of His Creation into a Whole, into wholesome oneness by offering humanity a Way back to oneness with God, and thereby to oneness with itself and all Creation.

THE COSMOS: Interconnectivity of Humanity with the Created Universe Through Comm-union with God
Dispelling the Western Selfish Delusion of Human Autonomy, Unconnected to the Natural World
Gaia hypothesis Living organisms interact with their inorganic surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic and self-regulating, complex system that helps to maintain and perpetuate the conditions for life on the planet [Ref]
Web of Life Every human is born from a woman's body and connected by an umbilical chord to her as life support; if not cut, every human's connection to every other human would be physically visible, a graphic example of the web of life - the interrelationships and interdependence of psychological, biological, physical, social, and cultural phenomena [Ref]
Life Building Blocks C-H-O-N-P-S (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur) - humans are made from these same building blocks of life as everything else; “we are stardust”, most of the essential elements of life are made in stars [Ref} [Ref} [Ref]
Photosynthesis Process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar; humans exhale carbon dioxide that plants use for photosynthesis, while being dependent on plant photosynthesis for oxygen, food, and pasture and fodder for grazing animals eaten for meat
Carbon Cycle Nature's way of reusing carbon atoms, which travel from the atmosphere into organisms in the Earth and then back into the atmosphere over and over again; most carbon is stored in rocks, sediments, and fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas) while the rest is stored in the ocean, atmosphere, and living organisms - the reservoirs, or sinks, through which carbon cycles; burning fossil fuels releases carbon stored in them into the amosphere, where it accumulates causing warming (greenhouse effect) unless absorbed by the oceans or soil, or reutilized by plants and animals [Ref] [Ref]
Oxygen Without oxygen, permanent brain damage in humans occurs within 4 min; death 4 to 6 min later; clean air is critical to lung function; burning produces particles which when breathed clog lungs, reducing function [Ref]
Respiratory fluids Airborne exchange of respiratory fluids (made known by COVID) - air we breathe is shared with other humans and animals; contains their respiratory fluids [Ref]
Water Cycle Powered by sun which heats oceans and seas creating water vapor through evaporation which collects in atmosphere to eventually fall as precipitation, which feeds streams, rivers, lakes and inland seas that provide fresh water sources, as well as percolates through soils to replenish groundwater and springs [Ref]
Water Of all water on Earth, only 3% is fresh, 97% is saltwater and cannot be utilized by most plants and animals, or humans; 3 days without fresh water causes organ failure in humans [Ref]; at birth, babies are 78% water, adult men 60%, adult women 55% Ref
Life cycle Rock weathers to become soil; human and animal urine returns minerals from weathered rock to soil that were absorbed by plants; animal excrement decomposes into manure, which together with dead organisms (plant and animal) decompose into nutrient rich humus that in topsoil, feeds more plant life that feeds more human and animal life
Microorganisms Found on the outside and inside of human and animal bodies, and in the soil; human and animal life, and plant life all suffer when the microbiome is depleted from use of antibiotics, bacteriacides, fungicides, etc. [Ref] [Ref)
Food Longest record of human survival without food is between 8 and 21 days [Ref]
Temperature Humans are dependent on narrow range of temperature for survival; may become unconscious if body temperature falls from 98.6º to 85° F, death possible at 78°; overheating at 99º to 100º, heatstroke at 104º [Ref]
